Who we are
Jason L. Bishop Fine Art operates jasonlbishop.com to display and sell artwork and respond to customer inquiries. This policy describes information handled through this website.
Information you provide
When you inquire about artwork, email us, create an account or place an order, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the interaction, this includes your name, email address, telephone number, message, billing and shipping addresses, artwork selections and order details. Please do not send payment-card details through email or the contact form.
The store uses WooCommerce. You can check out as a guest or create an account. Account information helps you manage your details and purchases. If you submit a product review, its content and display name may be visible to other visitors.
How we use information
We use customer information to answer questions, manage accounts, process and fulfill orders, provide order updates and support, maintain business records, troubleshoot website problems and protect the site from abuse. Website usage information helps us understand how visitors find and use our artwork pages.
Payments and order fulfillment
Square is enabled as the website’s card-payment service. When you pay through Square, information needed for payment processing, such as billing details, payment details and the purchase amount, is handled by Square. Our store receives transaction information needed to manage your order. See Square’s privacy notice for customers.
Information necessary to calculate delivery charges and fulfill an order may be shared with shipping and delivery providers. We also use service providers for hosting, website maintenance, security and business email. Authorized personnel and website-management providers may access information needed to support these services.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and interactions. Analytics may process browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location and interactions such as clicks on the website’s telephone link. A telephone-link click measures an interaction with the link; it does not record the content of a telephone conversation.
Analytics and store functions may use cookies or similar technologies. Store and account cookies help maintain your cart, session and login. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies can affect checkout or account features. Google provides information about data collected through partner websites and a Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on.
Inquiries, email and spam protection
Messages submitted through the website are handled through Gravity Forms. Website email is configured to use Post SMTP with SMTP2GO. Email processing and diagnostic logs may include addresses, message content and delivery status. See SMTP2GO’s privacy policy.
The contact page loads Google reCAPTCHA to help detect automated abuse. Google may process browser, device and interaction information for this service under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Retention and your choices
Retention depends on the record and its purpose, including customer support, account administration, order fulfillment, accounting and security. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Service providers may maintain records under their own retention policies.
You can contact us to ask about your personal information or request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons. The rights available to you depend on applicable law.
